And he sings too. Kind of.

Well, he hums is a little more like it, sometimes the Doodle gets a little vocal and it seems like he's trying to sing or caw. The sparkly gold glitter glasses are just to help him get in the mood. Sometimes when you pick him up and he's happy to see you, he will coo like a dove. Maybe he has a future in bird calling?

My Little Penguin

Doodle reminds me of a Penguin. And why not?

He loves the water.

He waddles when he walks.

He likes to splash.

He's happiest in the tub.

He's not afraid of humans.

He looks good in black and white.

He caws, maybe in Penguin-speak.

He's independent and does what he wants.

He doesn't mind the cold.

He loves to be outside.

He huddles and cuddles to keep cozy and warm.
Say hello to my little Penguin.

Doodle-ism #59

Because don't all 3 year olds lay around the house watching cartoons with one hand down their pants?

A Sense of Humor

Is it possible to have a sense of humor at such an early age? With parents like us, it's no wonder.

We've got all the makings of funny here.
Let's see, we've got...Striped pants.

A shirt that's riding up on his tummy.

A favorite pair of rain boots.

And, what else?
A fur hat.

The Doodle knows he can't get off the bed without his helmet, so I guess he grabbed the first thing close and it happened to be,
a fur hat.
(faux fur I should mention for any of you PETA peeps out there).

Sometimes I think the Doodle isn't autistic at all. He can probably really talk and he does these quirky things just to mess with us. He's just making sure we're paying attention.

When all else fails

and you can't find the cat,

check in the back pack.

And you can't find the cell phone,
check in the toilet.

And you can't get the Doodle Bug to stop turning the channels on the TV set,
build a contraption (and hide the remotes).

P.S. Any one know how to get color crayon off a flat screen?
Sigh.
